| Loving my bathroom ladder storage. Recently renovated my bathroom which is quite small so there is no linen closet and no room for a large vanity, as a result very limited counter space. This unit happens to be from Target for $50 plus the baskets which range from $10-$15. Not bad – it is good quality – very sturdy. Comes in brown also. Perfect for a small space and holds those small items I use often. Added some pretty turkish towels and a plant to dress it up. What do you think - Is this something you would use in your bathroom? These are popular and can be found many places these days. And of course they’re not just for the bathroom – they’d be great in the kitchen, home office, baby’s room! Here are some others I thought were cute. |

When it comes to buying real estate, house hunters imagine they can look past ugly decor or empty rooms and see “potential”, but they rarely can!
That’s why successful builders use Model Homes and Model Suites to sell their projects. They make it easy for a potential buyer to imagine how they will live in the property, they suggest the lifestyle that the buyer will aspire to. Why home staging will help you sell your home Savvy home sellers realize that the same principals that work when showing a model home apply in the resale market and turn to professional home stagers to sell their home quicker and for hopefully for more money. Real estate buyers start house hunting with a logical list of criteria, but the home they actually buy is chosen largely for emotional reasons. The principal aim in a home staging project is to allow potential buyers to walk into the house and have that “this is it, this is home” feeling. Once a potential buyer can say, “I love it,” they are willing to look past some of the criteria they had on their “must have in my next house list” before they walked in the door. That’s why it is critical to pay attention to even the smallest detail when staging a home to sell. Little things like over crowded rooms, personal memorabilia, dripping taps or doors that stick, all help the buyer emotionally disengage from the house. The annoyances or problems they will have to deal with later build up in their minds, and their thoughts turn to the next listing appointment they have with their agent as they mentally tick your house off their list of possibilities. Falling in love with your home is what motivates someone to actually make an offer instead of just continuing their search for the perfect property. You want them to worry that if they don’t make a decision on your house, someone else will. Then the competition doesn’t stand a chance! Having trouble selling your home? Looking to give it that extra something to attract a wide range of prospective buyers? Then it might be time to hire a stager.
Once you’ve made the decision to bring in a stager, you must find the right person for you. Not every stager is the same, and you’ll want to make sure the person you choose has a vision you can get behind. A conversation about their thoughts and vision is warranted. Remember that a stager is an artist, and they may have ideas for your home that aren’t showcased in their book or even on their website. Be sure to tell them your ideas, listen to theirs, and see if you can come up with a happy medium. A stager should be a good listen and incorporate your ideas into their plan. Remember, the whole reason for hiring a stager is to make your home stand out. The cost of a stager should also play a role in your decision. You don’t want to be paying more than you can afford, even if it does mean having your home look exquisite while on the market, so make sure you choose a stager who’s within your budget. Finally, choose someone who you can talk with and work with favorably. You don’t want to be butting heads with the person who’s trying to help you sell your home. Find someone whose talent you admire, is open to dialogue and has experienced success. Once you do, your home stager will help you and your home on the way to a sale.Having trouble selling your home?
